Creativity

Ever wondered why artist’s are so creative? It’s because they challenge ideas, allow their minds to be open to new concepts, situations and ideas. But creativity can sometimes be rather illusive, appearing to be blocked by a blank wall. Occasionally, it is hard to be creative because the mind just goes blank.
So, what do you do if the ideas stop flowing? One thing you could try would be to check out the blog on this page. There are a lot of articles on this page to get your creative juices flowing. Have a look at, ‘3 things an artist needs’ or ‘special effects in paint’. There are ideas here for you to explore to make your drawing and painting more creative.

Our Philosophy

At Art Tutorials online, we believe being an artist is a twofold process. It’s a combination between skills, techniques, creativity and the ability to see things in a way others often can’t.

Many people become obsessed with learning techniques, but that only takes you so far. You also need the passion and the creativity to experiment and make mistakes. But remember no one in the world draws like you do, be proud of that. As an artist you seek an individual vision, who’s to say you haven’t got that. Hopefully, our art tutorials will help you seek out your individual vision.
