Coloured Pencils – Basics
This art tutorial covers the basics of how to draw with coloured pencils. I explain how to draw with coloured pencils from the very basic techniques of shading to bending. Blending colours together to create soft gradations of tone is an important step to learn. It is also useful to understand how you can use a use a blender to soften blends.
The other technique explained is how to use a burnisher in two different ways. You either put a shine on your drawing or create a wax resist effect. This can really make your drawing look good when drawn properly. All these drawing techniques are explained simply so it is easy for beginners to follow.
The video is aimed at beginners, children, those teaching children to draw and people with some experience of drawing.
