Learn how to paint trees using watercolour paint. The video starts by explaining how the light and shade is determined. By holding the brush horizontally the basic tree shape is established using a variety of tones. The stick end of the brush is used to paint small branches. I also explain how to paint a tree trunk with plain water using wet on wet techniques. The finished painting is achieved by finishing the tree trunk with a flat dry brush effect.

Learning how to paint trees has never been so easy.

This art tutorial is aimed at anyone wishing to develop their skills in watercolour painting and beginners who might be new to painting.
