This watercolour art tutorial covers the basics of creating edges and layers. Creating layers in watercolour painting can be fraught with difficulties. But if you follow the painting ideas contained in this art tutorial you shouldn’t go wrong. I demonstrate how you can lay down an area of water and drop watercolour paint into it, interestingly, the paint will not bleed outside the area of the water. I also explain how to create different tones of a colour by simply layering when the previous layer is dry.
