Coloured Pencils: Part 2 – Red Pepper

Views

In this art tutorial I’m going to show you how to use coloured (colored) pencils to draw a red pepper. I start by explaining how to outline the drawing before concentrating on the dark tones first. It really is amazing how cool tones will make dark areas of the drawing recede and warmer tones will make lighter areas come forward.

You’ll also learn to use coloured pencils to create tone and how to use a burnisher and blender. The blender is a great tool for blending colours together in your drawing.

This art tutorial about the use of coloured (colored) pencils to draw a red pepper is intended for beginners, children and students who might be studying GCSE art and Design and those wishing to improve their drawing skills with coloured (colored) pencils
